It is a Muse tradition to give a Christmas present to fans in the members’ area of the website.

Signed-up members were given access to footage of two songs from the bands’ July shows at Wembley Stadium. The footage was particularly exciting because it was shot with seven 360 degree cameras. These MatiVISION cameras give the viewer a completely immersive experience placing them on stage with full control of where the camera is pointed.

My role in publishing the videos was fairly minor but time consuming. I had to upload the videos and ensure that our Akamai server was set-up in the correct way to stream the videos dynamically.

The project involved numerous people from Akamai, Warner, Metropolis, Mativision and Muse’s management but all came together in time to give Muse fans a special Christmas present.
