Smiler All I Know Mix Tape YouTube Sampler

To further promote Smiler’s free mix tape, we released a sampler on YouTube. By using YouTube annotations the viewer can jump between clips of every song on ‘All I Know’.

Kate Brighouse designed a still image with all the track names on it. Yoni Lappin then synced up the stills with the audio. When a song is playing the title has three lines next to it, so I suggested alternating between a still without the lines every few seconds to animate the video slightly.

Once the final video was ready I added all the annotations and internal links in YouTube. The result is an elegantly simple interactive sampler of the mix tape, giving Smiler additional coverage on YouTube.
