At the end of July 2012 we made our way to the family-friendly Deer Shed Festival. The weekend was a completely different festival experience with live music alongside games, crafts and story-time. The organizers managed to secure a decent line-up of artists and it was refreshing to attend a festival with clean toilets and completely reasonable queues.

En route to Deer Shed we stopped off for a bit of sightseeing in York.
